For furnished letting, the scope, age, condition and value of the furnishings need to be documented in a traceable way. On request, we create a structured inventory list with photo documentation, purchase or acquisition dates and relevant product information.
Legal notice
Courts base the furnishing surcharge on the current value of the furnishings. A 2026 federal government draft bill aims at clearer disclosure obligations — at the time of publication still a draft bill, not applicable law. We coordinate individual tenancy-law questions with qualified specialist partners.
